Deep Fried Heaven

Friday night we were invited to a friend's house for appetizers and dessert. They were both deep fried. Yummy! We started with deep fried chicken wings which were then covered with incredible home made sauce. As fast as the fryer would empty, those were replaced with deep fried sauerkraut balls which were actually made with sauerkraut, a bit of ham and a bit of jalepenos and not some pasty-I-am-really-flour insides.

To cap the evening we had deep fried oreos. If you have not tried them, do if at all possible! They are heavenly.

The only thing not deep fried was the cognac and that was just very, very smooth. The evening was a nice send-off for my next trip. Blog with you again in about a week.
