Cleveland Has a First Name
I never realized it before but Cleveland has a first name. The first name is "Maybe-Next-Year". Presbytera's family from youngest (shown) to the oldest has been cheering the Indians on since they got into the playoffs. The students at St Barbara's Academy would daily ask me, "Did the Indians win last night Grandma?"
My final answer to them is NO!
I would not be surprised if the Cleveland Browns were in the playoffs this year and we could have a trifeca. Cavs in the finals -- lost. Indians in the League Championship Series -- lost. Browns in the playoffs? -- definitely a loss.
The reason Saranita has such a big smile it that she's just too young to realize that the TRIBE didn't get to the World Series (again).
The good news is that I might have more time to blog now that I am not glued to the TV late at night waiting for the miraculous comeback of the Indians. It was an awfully fun season to watch this year even though we didn't make it to the World Series. We actually made it pretty far considering we are 23rd in the amount we pay for our players.

You can't blog and watch TV at the same time? ;) Looking forward to seeing more posts from you.
I'm pretty bummed about the Indians, but I am glad we made it as far as we did.

Dear Barb ~ I stumbled upon your blog because it came up under a search for 'Presbytera', a term I had told another priest's wife about. I'm a parish priest and chaplain, this being a second career after being a narcotics & homicide detective in the NYC area. Love your blog ~ and God Bless you & your husband for the work you do...

Well, you know I was rooting for the Rockies and that didn't turn out so great either.
I've tagged you in a fun Christmas memories meme. Please visit my blog if you want to play and leave me a comment so I'll know to come back here and read about your memories.
